The Burnout Paradise game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 upends the typical race game format.
The successor to Burnout Revenge offers five different formats of events; Road Rage, Races, Marked Man, Burning Route and Stunt Run.

You start by getting a learner’s permit then cruise into Paradise City to complete and gain stature. At stop lights you see what type of an event you can compete in.
Burnout Paradise environments are rich in detail. Playing online you can get into a race with up to seven other gamers. You can get mug shots with the Xbox 360 Vision cam or a PS Eye Camera.
Mass destruction and carnage abound. Sound effects are superb. And Burnout Paradise delivers a solid lineup of vehicles and events.

Patapon will probably wind up as one of 2008’s best games for Sony’s PSP. It is innovative, entertaining and challenging.
The Patapon goal: to build up an army of Patapons. You command them by tapping buttons to the rhythm of a great beat.
The patapon game army is built by collecting resources such as stones, branches and iron.
Patapon game producer Christian Hinojosa-Miranda says “Once you hear the chanting and the ‘pata pata pata pon’, it kind of gets in your head. It really strikes to the heart of the PSP, which is simple, really addictive gameplay with awesome design.”
Patapon is a tough game. Players who keep a watchful eye on developments and get into the tapping groove will love it.

Professor Layton is indeed a curious game. For people who are not into slaying beasts and blasting menacing enemies from the unfriendly skies, Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a gem.
Optical illusions and geometric challenges along with 100+ puzzles add up to a marvelous challenge.
“It’s a game no one can feel bad about or condemn. It makes math fun, it makes word problems fun, it challenges you to think about problems in a new way. It’s got a great story, lovely art, and nice voice acting,” says Jennifer Tsao, group managing editor for the 1Up Network.
Professor Layton players explore the town, which delivers all the imagined experiences of curious village.
